Counselling Warrington
Jeannette Robson (MBACP) - Person-Centered Counselling in Warrington, Cheshire
There are times when we need some extra support to deal with life's challenges. Whether it is something that you feel is taking over your life, getting in the way or something about yourself that you just don't understand. I offer a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings so that together we can find a way forward.
I am an accredited Person-Centred counsellor working with adults, young people and children in the Warrington area of Cheshire, England. I see many clients with anxiety, from social anxiety, separation anxiety, health anxiety to panic disorder, to name a few. I also work with those struggling with bereavement, relationship breakdown, gender dysphoria and career related issues.
I work from rooms in Warrington town centre which have disabled access and there is plenty of parking in the area. I am available for home visits and offer online video sessions.
In the past I have worked with charities supporting children and young people and this has expanded my knowledge of their needs and given me further insight to how their environment and experiences can influence their mental well being and behaviour.
I worked in a corporate environment for many years before becoming a counselor and therefore understand the pressures, conflicts and anxieties that this can generate.
What is Person-Centred Counselling?
Most of us are influenced by those around us and what society expects of us. We can feel under pressure to be a certain way or achieve certain things.
The Person-Centred Approach helps you to get in touch with what really matters to you, what you really want and how you really feel. It supports you to grow and get stronger, so that you feel able to face the world and those around you, but also to be true to yourself.
Although counselling may have covered a small part of your life, the understanding you develop and the strength you gain will benefit all aspects of your life.

Life is a journey, sometimes the path is shaky, sometimes the path is unknown or very scary. Having someone to support you at these times can help you to continue forward and find your way onto a stronger, clearer path.
